COMRADE SOFTWARE AND ONAM CELEBRATION.

Comrade Team members celebrated the Onam 2016 on 14th September 2016 on the day of Thiruvonam at Comrade office, Dubai. The harvest festival 'Onam' is the major festival celebrated in Kerala, India. It is also the State festival of Kerala with State holidays on 4 days starting from Onam Eve (Uthradom) to the 3rd Onam Day.
11 members of Comrade Team has been participated in the Onam Celebration. Preparation of 'AthaPookkalam' was one of the major work during celebration and the members were also participated in the Onam Sadhya preparation. Mr. Sam Kurakar, Manoj KB, Abhilash Krishnan, Justin Scaria, Ismail Mohahamed, Subair Ali, Shakeel Ahmed, Manu Kurakar,Praveen Money,Johnson George and Mr. Reuben Thomas were actively involved in the entire celebration. Ganamela of Team members, Caroms play competition etc. were also conducted. Mr. Subair Ali is the winner of Caroms play.

The ‘Onam’is biggest festival of Kerala
and it denotes that during the reign of mighty asura (demon)
king, Mahabali, Kerala witnessed its golden era. Every body in the state was
happy and prosperous and king was highly regarded by his subjects. Apart from
all his virtues, Mahabali had one shortcoming. He was egoistic. This weakness
in Mahabali's character was utilized by Gods to bring an end to his reign as
they felt challenged by Mahabali's growing popularity. However, for all the
good deed done by Mahabali, God granted him a boon that he could annually visit
his people with whom he was so attached.
